BMSIT Admission for Students Outside Karnataka (2026 Guide)
Students from outside Karnataka can apply for admission to BMS Institute of Technology and Management (BMSIT), Bangalore through multiple admission routes. You do not need Karnataka domicile to study at BMSIT. The college accepts eligible students from all Indian states through COMEDK and the Management Quota.

1. COMEDK UGET
This is the most popular admission route for students from outside Karnataka.
- Open to students from all states in India.

2. Management Quota
Students who have not appeared for COMEDK or have not secured the desired rank can apply through the Management Quota.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have:
- Passed Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent examination.
- Studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Studied one of the following: Chemistry, Computer Science, Biology, Biotechnology, or Electronics.
- Secured at least 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying subjects (40% for reserved categories as applicable).
- For Management Quota admissions, the college currently expects around 60% marks as per its admission norms.
